La Ruta De Los Conquistadores Is The Worlds Toughest Race

Roman Urbina, a sixteen-year-old Roman, read about Juan de Caballon, the Spanish Conqueror Juan de Caballon, during his twenty years of travel in beautiful Costa Rican mountains. This was in an attempt to explore the country. The expedition began at the Pacific Coast, and ended in the Caribbean. Urbina, an adventurer and recognized Costa Rican athlete, decided to retrace the long journey.

Roman, along with 34 other brave adventurers, was captivated by the story of that Spanish General. They set out to cross nine of the twelve microclimates Costa Rica has. They crossed many lush rain forests, magnificent volcanoes, stunning mountains, and clear rivers on their adventure.

La Ruta de los Conquistadores was created out of the desire to make such trips an annual competition.

La Ruta is still considered the most challenging mountain bike race in the world, even though it was established many years ago. This proves that the organization has invested a lot of energy and hard work.

La Ruta de los Conquistadores, Costa Rica’s most important race, attracts many competitors each year as well as international journalists. La Ruta has attracted nearly 5500 cyclists over its 16-year history.

OFFICIAL LA RUTA RACE RELEASE
The fifth La Ruta was won by the ticos idol
Playa Bonita de Limon, Costa Rica. – This is my favourite race. After finishing the 5,100ms La Ruta de los Conquistadores in Limn (The Caribbean Province), Federico Ramirez, a Costa Rican cyclist (BCR-Pizza Hut), said that this is my main motivation.

Lico was responding to a Media representative’s question at the press conference, which took place just a few seconds after he crossed the finish line of the final stage between Aquiares & Playa Bonita. He finished second today after his archrival Paolo Montoya (Economy Rent a Car -Seven Capital), won the final sprint. Ramirez won the GC first place; it was his fifth La Rutas Trophy in six appearances. This race has never seen so many winners, except the King Conquistador.

Overall, the winner won with a time of 1

The pizza boys again worked together and almost everyone was left behind at the beginning of the final course. Only Montoya managed to keep up their pace over the first climb, and the last few kilometers. The trio remained together for the relentless train tracks and dominated the final stretch to Playa Bonita.

Enrique Artavia (Super-Pro-Economy Rent a Car) took third place in the GC.

Costa Ricans ranked fifth, though France basedManuel Prrado (Sho-Air/Rock N Road Cyclery). This race has directly influenced Manny’s four-year career. In 2005, he was 30 years old. He reached the podium this time, which should be considered his highlight.
